一、女生问学校维修部门要换电灯炮顺便想把坏掉的电灯泡据为己有，因为想弄来装饰自己boring的雕塑，管理员说可以顺便推销堆在那里的废铁废木头，还说自己以前也学过艺术，可以给建议。女生又说要为自己的囯际象棋俱乐部要做个花车参加游行，要用可循环材料 管理员继续推销说过几天学校砍树，很多烂木头。

二、订礼堂。走来问礼堂有没有订好，知道最近电脑出问题了。然后换了教室定，所以没订上(一开始还说可能表格丢了。因为一个人订，所以有可能认为订重复了)。学生要周五上午，下午要芝加哥什么的。职员给他定了另一个地方的， 虽小，但可以容纳40人了(符合要求)。学生还问要不要回来帮忙修电脑。

三、找老师询问课堂中老师提到过的美国午餐的来历，以前晚餐是最重要的，没有午餐，后来工人中午会饿，没法回家吃饭，就有了午餐。

四、鸟类迁徙。第一个理论：sun navigation.鸟儿根据太阳来辨别方向；第二个理论：magnet 地球磁场；第三个理论：scent-map气味地图。鸟儿能识别目的地的气味，还有路上的地标的气味，以此来辨别方向。教授评价：前两个理论的缺陷是不能说明鸟儿怎么知道具体的current position；第三个理论有实验和证据证明，但是科学家还有些doubt未解决。

五、教授讲古代的黄铜日历，主要是象征性使用，比如一个图画了星星月亮太阳，但是不完全和天空上实际的位置对应，然后讲了月亮和7个circle可能与lunar历有关，因为lung calendar短，所以会多的一个月。

六、教授讲罗马城邦水系统。第一部分大致讲为了给多人口城邦供水的地下管道(防被投毒是被藏起来的)第二部分有配图是地.上的坝之类的东西讲它调控水位之类。
