一、雅思大作文评分标准：

4分：

跑题、严重偏题，文笔再一般般的话，就是4分。

例句：These lead to new ideas from different vision will happen.

5分：

如果论点无新意，有明显的模板格式，老掉牙的句子多：开头With the development of economy……要么就是More and more people……动不动就“As a result”没完没了地用，通遍一大堆“In my opinion”，“I think”，“There be”句型，这种东西唬弄唬弄四六级也就算了，拿来糊弄GZ，未免有点自讨没趣了。这样的就是5分的固定模式。

例句：Although sticking to one's goal is key to success, sometimes one should be ready to give up.

6分：

文章切题，语句通顺，没有明显错误(小错在6个以内)，有一些比较不错的语句(复杂句、排比、倒装、从句等等)就是6分的标准了。

例句：Things should be done to make salaries fairer. Huge amounts of money shall be given to more deserving people. It seems that the only solution is to impose heavy taxes upon people who earn excessively high salaries.

7分：

文笔流畅，错误极少，有个别闪光点就是7分。

例句：Bad traffic and increasing pollution are thorny issues challenging every major city in the globe. To combat such problems, government encourages companies to mark up gas price in an effort to decrease car use and

cut down waste gas. However it may temporarily alleviate the problem, but is doubtfully the optimal solution.

8分：

论点新颖、别具一格，或者文风极富个性，与众不同。能让人留下深刻印象。其他标准同6分的话，就是8分。

或者论点一般，但十分切题。语言很漂亮，令人印象深刻。也是8分(不过一般这样也可以给7分)。

例句：Happiness may mean being a successful and respected leader of a company,or a stable and comfortable job in a large international company, or a big flat downtown,a fantastic set of furniture,etc.

9分：

语句华丽，行文如吟诗作画，笔下冉冉生辉，文章观点别具匠心，让人读了怅然舒爽或义愤填膺、栩栩如生或回味无穷，那就是9分了。很多native都写不出来。在这里就不给例子了，因为不是一两句就能体现得出文章的出彩，必须通读全文，有“神”在文中。

例句：Some people believe it is possible to get the best of both world—they accept the ecnomic advantages of globalization and seek to maintain something of great value-language,tradition and custom.

Some people believe the purpose of education is to prepare individuals to be useful to society, while others say the purpose is to help individuals to achieve personal ambitions. Please discuss both views and give your opinion.

作文内容：

What does education mean for a person - to gain the knowledge and ability to excel in professional career or to enable him to contribute meaningfully to society? As for me, they are not mutually exclusive, and further, the latter can and does embrace the former.

Narrowly, education facilities an understanding of oneself, providing a chance to enlighten one to know more about what he wants. That is, from kindergarten to university, one gradually realizes his desire that usually comes with different types and requires skills and ability of various kinds to fulfill. Then, in order to make these dreams come into being, he has nothing to do but learn, and more importantly, being educated, other than self learning, is more effective way to expedite this. Consider, for example, a girl who dreams of becoming a nurse. Only by attending the college will she be able to fulfill her ambition.

Then, for a broader perspective, becoming truly education requires sufficient mastery of one particular academic area to permit individuals to make contributions to social development and construction. It is a fact universally acknowledged, that any society is made up by individuals who work in positions of all kinds. Then, through education no matter what form it is, they become knowledgeable citizens and, at the same time, take on the role in their communities. Theoretically, the more education they receive, the more they will pay back to the society. Hence, great benefits eventually accrue to society as a result of education.

To sum up, it is easy for me to draw a conclusion that education amounts to far more than gaining knowledge and ability; that is, it deals people a chance to be entitled to self-determination. And with all these individual efforts coming up together, the society develops greatly.

prohibit v. 禁止，阻止——prohibitively由于价格或要求过高而阻止了一些人得到——prohibitively过高地
